What is MBA Finance?
MBA Finance is a two-year postgraduate program that is offered by top universities and institutes. This program enables the students to get into the financial world. The students get an understanding of the company reports, compare and maximize stock value, forecast economic trends, opt for better investment portfolios, balance and risk profitability, and many more. After the completion of the MBA Finance program, the candidate gets the chance to work as an Investment banker, financial analyst, financial manager, chief financial officer, accounting manager, financial consultant, financial analyst, accountant, asset manager, portfolio manager, and many more.
Modes of the MBA Finance Programme
If you are interested in an MBA program but confused about which mode of education to pursue an MBA then worry not. You can pursue an MBA in different modes of MBA. Here we have mentioned the different modes of MBA Finance. Full-Time MBA: You can pursue an MBA in Finance in a regular mode by taking an entrance examination at the university or institute. There are many entrance examinations like CAT, MAT, XAT, and many more. In a full-time MBA ( Master of Business Administration ) you can pursue a year MBA or two year MBA depending on completion of the eligibility criteria. In the full-time mode of MBA, the candidate has to attend the class regularly. They have to strictly give one to two years to the program. Part-Time MBA: In a part-time MBA the candidates have the liberty to work along with their studies. Part-time MBA is different from that of traditional degree programs. It gives flexibility to the students. There are mainly two types of part-time MBAs lockstep and self-paced MBAs. Both modes are a little different. In this mode of program, the candidate gets the opportunity to work and study at the same time. Online MBA: MBA online degree , the studies are offered completely in online mode. The students can pursue this program with complete flexibility. There will be no requirement to visit the university. You can submit the assignment and can attempt the tests and examination in online mode. The online degree is at par with the regular degree. The classes for the online mode of degree are done on weekends, so there is no hassle to worry about the classes. Hybrid MBA: In this mode of MBA, the candidates are not required to attend classes regularly. You can take online classes on weekends and in the evenings. This mode of MBA is not easily available at every school or university. Global MBA: Global MBA is offered to students who are pursuing an MBA from a foreign university and institute. This mode of MBA is offered by top universities in online mode as well. However, there are many eligibility criteria to follow before enrolling in the program. Executive MBA: Executive MBA , students who have enough work experience and looking to pursue an MBA can enroll in this program. This program is offered in hybrid and online mode. This mode of education is offered only to people with adequate work experience in the relevant field. You can even work with the degree. Distance MBA: MBA Distance Education , you have the option of pursuing an MBA even in distance mode. Many open schools offer MBA to students. There are various specializations apart from MBA finance that can be opted by the students.
