1. Definitions & Acceptance

"User", "you", or "student" refers to any person accessing the CampusCompare platform, including parents, guardians, and authorized counsellors. "Platform" refers to the CampusCompare website, its sub-domains, and associated services. By accessing the platform and creating an account, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, or that a parent/guardian consents to these terms on your behalf.

2. Nature of Services

The Platform provides college comparison tools, exam/personal college predictors, admission counselling connections, common application form (CAF) submissions, scholarship information, and career guidance. These services are informational and advisory. All admission decisions, eligibility determinations, and seat allocations remain the sole authority of the respective universities and counselling bodies.

3. Account Responsibilities

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and all activities performed under your account.
• You must provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration and when completing your application profile.
• You must promptly notify EduXTech of any unauthorized use of your account.
• Each account is for personal, non-commercial use by a single student candidate (unless used by an authorized counsellor).

4. User Conduct & Prohibited Activities

• Do not misrepresent your identity, academic credentials, entrance scores, or verification documents.
• Do not use the Platform for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose.
• Do not scrape, copy, or redistribute Platform content, curriculum information, ratings or review data without written consent.
• Do not interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform or its databases.
• Do not upload malware, corrupted files, or any content that infringes the rights of any third party.

5. Fees & Payments

The Platform may offer both free guidance services and premium features. Payment for application assistance or premium plans is processed through secure, trusted payment gateways. All fees, once committed for a premium plan, are non-refundable except as required by applicable consumer law. Transaction details are stored securely and only used for billing and audit purposes.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform - including college data, comparison tools, review engines, layout, graphics, and the CampusCompare wordmark and logo - is the property of EduXTech or its licensors and is protected under copyright and trademark law. You may access the Platform for your personal, non-commercial use only.

7. Limitation of Liability & Indemnity

• You agree to indemnify and hold EduXTech harmless from and against any claim, loss, or damage arising from your use of the Platform, submission of information, or violation of these terms.
• To the maximum extent permitted by law, EduXTech, its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of the Platform.
• Total liability, in all cases, is limited to the amount you have actually paid to EduXTech for using the Platform in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Termination & Suspension

EduXTech reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account with or without notice if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, infringed on the rights of other users, or engaged in any activity that could harm the Platform.

9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located at EduXTech's registered office.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date above. Your continued use of the Platform after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
