ATMA 2026 Exam Pattern and Marking Scheme- Overview
The format of the ATMA exam is a particular marking scheme by which the candidate's ability in various fields is assessed. One mark is awarded for every correct response. So if a person picks the right answer, one mark will be credited to their score. But in case an incorrect answer is chosen, 0.25 marks will be deducted from one's total. So there are certain pitfalls to watch out for: you might lose marks for answering incorrectly! There is an exception for every four wrong answers. The total score will drop by one mark since four wrong answers amount to the loss of one mark of a correct answer from the perspective of negative marking. No mark will be awarded for an unanswered question. Mark won't be deducted as well. So, going for a wild guess may not be a good idea.
