Types of BTech Courses and Fees In 2026
Different types of options students in India have to enroll for the graduation degree in engineering :
1) BTech Full Time
BTech Full Time is a 4-year program that provides students a platform to explore more about engineering to start their careers as engineers or technicians. BTech Full-Time Fees INR 1,00,000 to 2,00,000 (Average Annual Fee) Eligibility Average 50 % or above aggregate score besides studying Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects in 10+2 Course Duration 4 years
2) BTech Lateral Entry
A 3-year Engineering program to complete graduation courses for engineers who can’t enroll in a regular program, they can surely apply for the BTech Lateral Entry . Lectures can be attended during weekends or evenings depending on the university/ college aspirants are enrolling. The program is approved by AICTE (All Indian Council of Technical Education). Therefore, a BTech flexible timing degree is considered valid and at par with the Regular/ Full-Time BTech Program. 3) BTech for Working Professionals
AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) has allowed hybrid courses and classes for working professionals in engineering disciplines to learn advanced skills after finishing their 3-year diploma. This allows employers to balance their jobs with further studies. It is suggested to check the approvals before applying for any BTech Working Professionals course . BTech for Working Professionals Fees INR 90,000 to 1,00,000 (Average Annual Fee) Eligibility 3 year engineering diploma certificate A minimum of 2 to 3 years of working experience.
