Lovely Professional University (LPU) Admission 2026 Process & Eligibility

LPU admission 2026 is primarily based on the university's own entrance and scholarship test — LPUNEST (Lovely Professional University National Entrance and Scholarship Test), conducted in online remote-proctored mode as well as at test centres across India. LPUNEST is mandatory for most UG and PG programmes, and also determines the scholarship amount. LPU also accepts national-level exam scores such as JEE Main, CUET, CAT, MAT, XAT, NATA, CLAT, GATE, and GPAT for admission and scholarships. Scholarships at LPU can reach up to INR 8.40 Lakhs per student based on LPUNEST performance.

Pay the LPUNEST application fee of INR 1,000 for the soft-copy LPUNEST Kit or INR 1,500 for the printed kit, via credit card, debit card, net banking, or UPI.

Slot Booking

Log in to the portal and book a preferred date and time for the LPUNEST examination — remote proctored exam or test centre-based exam.

Appear for LPUNEST

Take the LPUNEST exam on the scheduled date (150 minutes, MCQ-based, no negative marking). Result declared within 24-48 hours.

B.Tech: 10+2 with 60% aggregate; PCM compulsory (PCB for Biotech / Food Tech / Biomedical) + LPUNEST or JEE Main.

BBA / BCA / B.Com / B.Des / B.Arch / BA LLB / BBA LLB: 10+2 with 50% aggregate + LPUNEST or CUET / CLAT / NATA / UCEED.

B.Pharm: 10+2 with 60% aggregate; PCB compulsory + LPUNEST or NEET.

B.Sc (Hons.): 10+2 with 60% aggregate in PCM/PCB + LPUNEST.

MBA: Bachelor's degree with 50% aggregate + LPUNEST or CAT / MAT / XAT / CMAT / NMAT / GMAT (+ GD/PI & Video Essay).

M.Tech: BE/B.Tech in relevant discipline with 55% aggregate + GATE or LPUNEST.

MCA: Graduation with Mathematics at 10+2 or graduation level, 55% aggregate + LPUNEST or NIMCET or CUET-PG.

M.Sc: B.Sc in relevant subject with 50%–60% aggregate + LPUNEST or CUET-PG or JAM.

LLM: LLB with 55% aggregate + LPUNEST or CLAT-PG.

PhD: Master's degree with 55% aggregate + LPUNEST (PhD) or NET / JRF / GATE / equivalent + Interview.
